Tottori Sand Dune Rakyo Hana Marathon
An exhilarating run with a view of the reddish purple Rakkyo fields and the Sea of Japan ！.
The festival is held every October, starting and ending at the Tottori Sand Dunes Oasis Plaza. On the west side of the dunes, there is a vast field of rakkyo cucumbers that utilizes the sandy soil, and from late October to early November, the flowers change color and the whole area is dyed a reddish purple. The feeling of running in the midst of these lovely flowers, feeling the refreshing autumn breeze, and looking out at the beautiful Sea of Japan is fantastic ！
There are 3km, 5km, 10km, and 3km walk events, and anyone can easily participate in this marathon event according to their physical fitness.
